Students at Harris Academy Chafford Hundred Celebrate
A Level and BTEC success.
Students at Harris Academy Chafford Hundred are celebrating another year of excellent results.
70% of students graduating from HACH sixth form will be going on to study at university, with many students choosing to study at prestigious Russell Group universities.
Across the sixth form there was a 100% pass rate with a 25%of grades awarded were at A*/A.
It’s important not to underestimate the impact of the pandemic on this group of students. The class of 2023 didn’t have the opportunity to sit external GCSE exams due to covid restrictions, meaning June 2023 was their first experience of sitting a national exam since the age of 11. We are incredibly proud of how our students approached their studiesdemonstrating maturity, tenacity, and grit. Their fantastic results are a testament as to how hard they have worked.
We are incredibly proud of Mia Jones who achieved A*, A*, B and will go on to study Psychology at Kings College London. Mia has worked incredibly hard during her time at Sixth Form, whilst faced with personal challenges. Mia demonstrated strength and determination to overcome these and will now go on to study her passion.
Despite facing difficult personal circumstances, we are also extremely proud of Passion Ugwa, who will now be attending a prestigious Russell Group university to study Child Nursing.
