Sixth Form

Welcome to Chafford Hundred Sixth Form

The Sixth Form at Harris Academy Chafford Hundred offers an exciting and varied curriculum as well as stimulating activities out of the classroom. If you choose to be part of our Sixth Form, we will do our best to enable you to achieve your potential, in whatever field that might be.

We firmly believe that the Sixth Form is a stepping stone to higher education and, as such, we encourage students to develop the skills needed to be successful in a more independent environment.

We offer a wide selection of A-level courses as well as Vocational qualifications. We are justifiably proud of the academic progress our students make, with most of them achieving better results than predicted for their GCSEs. Students are supported in this by teaching and learning that is stimulating and of a consistently high quality, and by the academic and pastoral support of a team of experienced tutors who give one-to-one guidance.

Full details of our 2025/26 subject offer and entry requirements will be available at our Open Evening on Thursday 21st November 2024.

Our Sixth Form is about more than academic success. We truly believe our students are capable of great things: from whole-school fundraising to running events in the lower school that contribute to their Community Action Service.

I would recommend that you come along to experience first-hand the exciting ethos of Harris Academy Chafford Hundred: truly, a Sixth Form for the future!

Miss Cowlin
